Edit Custom Package
This page allows administrators to edit an existing Custom Package.
You reach this page by selecting Edit on a package from the Packages & Offers page documented previously.
How to Access This Page
- Navigate to Admin → Packages
- Open the Custom Packages tab
- Click the Edit (✏️) action on a package
You will be taken to the Edit Package screen.
Page Layout Overview
The page is split into two main sections:
- Left Panel – Core package details and content
- Right Panel – Travel rules, booking flags, and actions
Breadcrumbs at the top show your current location and allow easy navigation back to Packages.

Back Navigation
- Use the BACK link at the top-left to return to the Packages page
- Unsaved changes are protected (see Unsaved Changes section)
Left Panel – Package Details
Banner Image Management
This section controls the main package banner image.
Available actions:
- Select Image – Choose a new banner image file
- Upload – Upload the selected image
- Cancel – Discard the selected image before uploading
A preview is shown:
- The newly selected image (if chosen)
- Otherwise, the existing banner image
- If no image exists, a No Banner Image placeholder is displayed
Basic Package Information
Edit the core package details:
- Title – Package name
- Subtitle – Supporting text
- Price – Package price
- Destination – Travel destination
All changes are applied immediately to the form.
Inclusions
Rich text editor used to describe what is included in the package, for example:
- Flights
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Transfers
Extras
Optional additional benefits such as:
- Free visa
- Bonus luggage
- Complimentary services
Right Panel – Travel Details
Booking Dates
Control package availability using dates:
- Book By – Last date the package can be booked
- Travel Until – Final date customers may travel
These dates directly affect package visibility and availability.
Booking Rule Flags
Use checkboxes to apply booking rules:
- Blackout Dates Apply – Certain dates are restricted
- Price Subject to Change – Pricing disclaimer applies
- Terms Apply – Terms and conditions apply
Actions
Preview Package
- Click Preview to view how the package will appear to users
- No data is saved when previewing
Save Package
- Click Save to persist all changes
- A confirmation message is shown once saved successfully
Unsaved Changes Protection
If you attempt to leave this page with unsaved changes:
- A warning dialog will appear
- You can choose to:
- Stay and continue editing
- Leave and discard changes
This prevents accidental data loss.
Best Practices
- Always preview changes before saving
- Keep titles and destinations consistent
- Use clear, well-formatted inclusions
- Double-check booking dates before saving
